As the restrictions of a global lockdown began to ease it was amazing to see a town with so much history and tradition come back to life. Even with social distancing measures in place, the heart and soul of Great Yarmouth market could be felt as people began creating their "new normal". It looked pretty certain to me that our local market will still be a big part of our lives. Here are a few recent paintings where I try and capture a sense of what it means to be a "good ol Norfolk Boi"
Whilst the whole country is in lockdown due to Covid 19 I've been painting everyday exploring new techniques and have a nice collection of smaller paintings on offer. Although I like to work slightly larger it's often a good idea to work a smaller area just to see how these techniques pan out. The pictures I have chosen here are the ones I hope the larger versions would look like if i'd gone bigger. Some of them really pop off the paper and of course a lot of people prefer smaller works, so why not grab a cuppa and take a little look. Thanks.
